Full treatment information

Who it may suit

  • Clients concerned about fine lines, reduced firmness, early laxity or dehydrated, tired-looking skin.
  • Uneven texture and age-related skin-quality changes can be discussed at consultation.
  • Potential areas include the face and, subject to product guidance, training and suitability, the periocular region, neck, décolleté and hands.

What happens during treatment

  • Medical history, skin assessment, discussion of goals, risks and informed consent.
  • Your practitioner confirms the formulation, treatment areas and appropriate programme before proceeding.
  • Skin is cleansed and the product is placed by injection; comfort measures and technique are explained at consultation.

Results and recovery

  • Hydration changes may be noticed earlier; improvements in skin quality can develop gradually.

Aftercare essentials

  • Follow the personalised written aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.
  • Keep the area clean and avoid touching or massaging it unless advised.
  • Confirm when to resume make-up, active skincare, strenuous exercise and heat exposure; use daily sun protection.

Contraindications and precautions

  • Treatment is generally postponed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Active infection, cold sores, inflamed or broken skin in the area require assessment before treatment.
  • Tell your practitioner about allergies to product ingredients, medical conditions, blood-thinning medicines and previous injectable treatments. Do not stop prescribed medicines without medical advice.
  • Bleeding disorders, immune-related conditions and a history of unusual scarring need individual assessment.
